Gemini

Gemini is Google's assistant model. When a question needs current information it grounds its answer on Google Search, returning grounded passages with source links. Lokrix runs Gemini live by default, with grounding enabled so it behaves like the surface your buyers use.

How it grounds

Gemini grounds on Google Search. That makes your classic Google organic visibility the foundation for being surfaced here — but Gemini is a separate engine from AI Overviews and AI Mode, even though all three draw on Google. It synthesises differently and cites its own set of sources, so Lokrix scores it independently.

How each answer engine grounds its answersSeven answer engines on the left connect to their grounding sources on the right: ChatGPT to the Bing index; Google AI Overviews, AI Mode and Gemini to the Google index and Search; Perplexity, Grok and Claude to live web search.ChatGPTGoogle AI OverviewsGoogle AI ModePerplexityGeminiGrok (xAI)ClaudeBing indexGoogle index / SearchLive web search

What moves your score

  • Google organic ranking for the buyer questions in your prompt universe.
  • Extractable, well-structured answers: clear headings and direct responses to the question give grounding good material to quote.
  • Statistics, quotations and cited sources on the page — the strongest measured on-page lever (Princeton GEO, KDD 2024).
  • Corroboration from trusted sources (Wikipedia, G2, industry publications) that reinforce your authority.
