Grok (xAI)

Grok is xAI's answer engine. For questions that need current information it uses live web search to ground its response, returning an answer with sources. Lokrix runs Grok live by default — it is one of the five engines that need no extra configuration.

How it grounds

Grok grounds via live search rather than a single fixed index. It leans toward real-time, recent sources, so freshness and being discoverable on the open web at query time matter more than a static crawl position.

  • Freshness: recently published or updated pages are more likely to be pulled into a live-search answer.
  • Broad web discoverability: ranking well on the open web for the buyer questions in your prompt universe.
  • Statistics, quotations and cited sources on the page — the top measured on-page lever (Princeton GEO, KDD 2024).
  • Earned-media corroboration (Reddit, Wikipedia, G2) that independently vouches for you.
