Path to #1
A path to #1 is a sequenced plan for a single target prompt: the ordered set of changes that, in simulation, moves your brand from where it is now to the top of the answer for the engines you care about — with the predicted uplift at every step.
From a target prompt to a plan
You pick a prompt from your prompt universe — usually a high-value buyer question where you are absent or under-cited. Lokrix reads the feature gaps for that prompt, assembles the candidate recommendations, and orders them into the shortest credible route to the top.
Why order matters
Changes are not independent. Earning a corroborating mention only pays off once the on-page evidence exists to be cited; freshness compounds with authority. The path sequences steps so each one builds on the last, and each step is simulated in context — the predicted score assumes the earlier steps are already in place.
Different engines, different routes
Because each engine grounds its answers differently, the fastest route to #1 differs by engine. Reaching the top in Perplexity leans on freshness and earned-media corroboration (Reddit is heavily over-weighted there); ChatGPT tracks the Bing index closely; Gemini and AI Overviews follow Google’s. The path makes those trade-offs explicit so you can optimise for the engines your buyers actually use — see Answer Engines for how each one is grounded.
A prediction, then proof
The whole path is model-based and free to explore. The predicted #1 is a target with a confidence interval, not a promise — AI answers are non-deterministic. After you work through the steps, a live scan samples the real engines K times and reports the Monte-Carlo presence probability you actually achieved.
